How to Program a Tork 1100 Series Timer

This video from Tork Tech demonstrates the proper method of programming Tork 1100 Series electromechanical time switches, including 1101, 1102, 1103, and 1104 models.

To program your Tork timer:

1.     First, open the switch's cover and locate the 24-hour time dial. The silver half represents “daytime” hours, while the black half represents “nighttime” hours.

2.     Next, set the “On” and “Off” times by adjusting the two mechanical triggers attached to the dial. To do this, loosen the connecting screw on each trigger and slide the trigger around the rim of the dial to the position that corresponds to the desired on or off time.

3.     The silver trigger will turn the system on; the black trigger will turn it off. To turn the system on at 7PM, for example, move the silver trigger to the “7” on the black side of the dial and tighten the connecting screw. To turn the system off at 10PM, move the black trigger to the “10” on the black half of the dial and tighten the screw.

4.     Adjust the 24-hour dial to match the time of day. Rotate the dial counterclockwise, as needed, until the “time” arrow on the base of the device points to the mark on the dial that corresponds to the current time.

5.     As time passes and the 24-hour dial rotates, the triggers will flip the mechanical switches on the base of the unit, turning the system on and off.
