"SUB" ADD-A-PHASE®

The Type "SUB" ADD-A-PHASE® is specifically designed for use with deep well submersible pump motors. Because these motors have smaller diameters and longer lengths than a standard T-frame motor, they generally require more amps for a given horsepower rating that a standard motor does. Therefore, the Type "SUB" uses an oversized transformer and extra capacitors to handle the extra load requirements of the submersible pump motors.

There are three standard voltage designations for the Type "SUB" converters. They are:

Type 2SUB - For 240V motors on 240V Single-Phase Power
Type 3SUB - For 480V motors on 240V Single-Phase Power
Type 4SUB - For 480V motors on 480V Single-Phase Power
