Applications for Tork 1104-FM (208-277v DPST, 40A, 24Hr) Swimming Pool Timers: The Tork 1104-FM Timer provides automatic ON-OFF control of swimming pool pumping systems with or without water heaters. Two units in one case allows for the addition of a lighting control, or automatic pool sweep. Models with the FM suffix contain low voltage secondary circuit to turn OFF water heater thermostat 20-30 minutes before standard voltage main circuit turns OFF the pump. This allows for slow cooling of heater coils, preventing sudden steam build-up and knocking and thereby prolonging heater life.
