WP1000 Series Weatherproof Receptacle Covers WP1030C

These NEMA 3R weatherproof receptacle covers ensure compliance with the 2002 National Electrical Code (NEC) Article 406.8(b).

The 2002 code requires "15 and 20 ampre, 125 and 250 volt receptacles installed outdoors in a wet location shall have an enclosure that is weatherproof whether or not the attachment plug cap is inserted."

All covers meet UL and CSA cold impact testing at -60°F (-51°C).
All covers are shipped with gasket, mounting screws, base and cover assembly and two inserts.
The plastic covers are molded of clear or gray UV stabilized polycarbonate for long life in high abuse outdoor installations.
The 2-gang models, WP1020, WP1030 and WP1050 can be mounted on single or 2-gang junction boxes mounted either vertically or horizontally.
Models WP1000 and WP1010 are for single gang vertical applications; models WP1000H and WP1010H are for single gang horizontal applications.

A lockable hasp is provided on models WP1000H, WP1010H; die cast models WP1010MC, WP1010HMC, WP1030MC; jumbo cover WP1050.
The hasp accepts up to a .315" (8 mm) diameter shank.
